I used the skills I learned in the value practice to make these pieces. The first piece was done with colored pencils and the second piece was done with watercolor markers.
Dear Ms. Haggerty May, 2016
I earned an A in AP Art/Studio Art II because… I gave my heart and soul into my artwork this year. I expressed my artistic behaviors. I created original artwork that I am proud of. I asked other people for their opinions on my art, to make sure my art would turn out well. I went into every new project with a great attitude. I vowed that I would try my hardest on every project, even if some project annoyed me. When I struggled with projects, I kept restarting when I needed, and pushed through as needed also. I was respectful to my classmates and my teacher. During critiques I would give positive feedback with some constructive criticism. I added my creativity into all my works. I made my works unique from all the others. I completed all assignments to my ability that were given to me. I did not rush through any assignment, and I gave each artwork the attention is deserved. I tried to send a message to my audience through my art work. And finally I came into every class with a smile, ready to take on whatever Mrs. Haggerty could throw at me! My summer artwork after the critique.
